Burr! Productions is looking for Fall interns to join our team! This is a great opportunity for students to experience the day-to-day of a busy and prolific production company and gain valuable insight into the entertainment industry. We are looking for interns who are eager to learn, excited to be a part of the development and production process, are critical thinkers/readers/writers, and love to find creative solutions to problems on the page and in life. Duties will include but are not limited to: script coverage, research, idea generation, list building, attending weekly staff meetings, and other various projects. BIPOC, AAPI, and Latino/a candidates are strongly encouraged to apply!
This internship is part-time and is unpaid for academic credit only. Interns are required to receive academic credit through their school to participate. Start and end dates are flexible based on your school's academic calendar. Weekly schedules are determined based on credit requirements, typically around 16 hours per week. The internship will be conducted remotely on Pacific Time. Please note again that the dates listed for the internship are tentative depending on the school.

About the Company: Burr! Productions is a film and television production company based in Los Angeles with a first look studio deal and a variety of projects in development. Kristin Burr (Principal) started the company in 2017 after a 20-year tenure as an executive at Walt Disney Studios. Burr! Productions most recently released Freakier Friday with Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan reprising their roles. Past films include the meta action-comedy The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (2022), Cruella (2021), Jingle Jangle (2020), Dora and the Lost City of Gold (2019), and Christopher Robin (2018).
