Work From Home - Texas
C3 Presents is currently seeking a Festival Accounting Manager to join our team. This person will assist the Senior Accounting Managers in supervising, tracking, and evaluating day-to-day activities. The Accounting Manager responsibilities include ensuring financial records are accurate and compliant, and that reporting is produced and submitted timely.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists in selecting and hiring accounting employees, as well as assists in training, mentoring, and motivating employees. Communicates staff performance issues with Senior Managers and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
• Responsible for compilation and documentation of festival accounting policies and obtaining approval of policy updates.
• Primary point of contact for festival audit needs. Assists Senior Reporting Accountant with both internal and external audits as needed.
• Assist with monthly Close account rollforward and support schedules as needed. Review and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Review and approve journal entries, bank reconciliations, bank wire submissions, cash receipts, balance sheet reconciliations, and invoices submitted through AP system and ensure compliance with GAAP and accrual basis accounting.
• Assist with Senior Accountant duties as needed, including reviewing and reconciling various settlements and recording necessary entries, updating forecasts, and providing financial analysis to confirm updates are appropriate, financial analysis of variances between actuals and forecast to determine if misstatements exist and making corrections.
• Assist with reviewing forecast deliverables and with annual budgeting process.
• Compile information for royalty reporting submittals.
• Review sales and amusement tax reporting and payments as needed.
• Perform account analysis and research.
• Perform other accounting functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA or CPA a plus)
• Minimum of seven years' experience in all aspects of accounting
• One or more years of leadership experience
• Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel
• ERP experience, preferably Oracle, but equivalent is sufficient
• Excellent working knowledge of accounting principles, policies, and practices
• Possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to take direction and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Effective time management skills, able to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines

• High degree of integrity
• Must be a positive, self-motivated, and flexible team player
• Flexibility in work hours and availability, especially during festivals and major projects
