The Manager, Brand Consulting Communications will support the Global CAA Brand Consulting team, with a specific focus on external and internal communications for the group, its executive leadership, its client work, among other brand communications needs.
The role will support the efforts of the global management team's efforts to strategically build and consistently and effectively execute a communications strategy for CAA Brand Consulting's position in the marketplace.
The role will connect with CAA's Corporate Communications team to ensure alignment with the broader corporate needs and on-going support.

The Department
CAA Brand Consulting is a strategy-led, full-service marketing agency with expertise in Cultural and Consumer Insights, Data and Analytics, Talent/Influencer and Property Partnership Advisory, Experiential, Social Impact, Creative Services, and Content and Digital Strategy. These integrated capabilities come together to offer solutions from planning through execution, and we pull in a collective perspective of expertise with each client brief to ensure we are tapping into diverse thinking and building strategies reflective of the marketplace and culture we work within.
Responsibilities
• Manage the ''front line'' for incoming and outgoing communications needs
• Strategize, write, and edit internal and external communication
• Conduct research to support communications planning and strategy
• Earn media coverage of relevant CAA Brand Consulting news
• Manage editorial and speaking opportunity calendars to secure relevant opportunities
• Manage the internal flow of key information
• Support the team in creating the best opportunities and outcomes
• Build systems to organize teams against communications opportunities – speaking, social media, conferences, editorial, awards submissions, and beyond
• Work with the Corporate Communications team on drafts, approved language, submissions on awards
• Work with the Business Development team on case studies to develop them into externally relevant opportunities (i.e., Awards submissions, speaking opportunities, etc.)
• Liaise with internal leaders on Industry event planning with client and team involvement
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations or equivalent experience
• Strategic thinker
• Social Media fluent
• 3+ years of experience in a communications role
• Organizes and prioritizes well, has a high sense of urgency, and meets deadlines
• Pays meticulous attention to detail
• Exhibits strong writing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills
• Consistently demonstrates professionalism, maturity, integrity, and inclusiveness
• Anticipates needs and is flexible in adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Maintains a highly committed work ethic and drive to succeed in a service organization
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Keynote, and other presentation programs
Location
Based out of the New York OR Los Angeles (Century City) offices, this role is onsite/in office Tuesday through Thursday and remote Monday and Friday.
Compensation: The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $84,000-$110,000 in Los Angeles and $89,000-$115,000 in New York. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
