Support the Senior HR Business Partner(s) in providing a high-standard partnership, operational support, and advisory, coaching and guidance service to CAA Sports' business group across UK and International markets.
Key relationships
Wider International HR Team, Business Area Leads and Managers, Agents, CAA Legal team, CAA Tech team, CAA Finance team, CAA Facilities team.
Duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:
HR Advice, Support, and Administration
• Act as a point of contact for all HR matters and respond, escalate or signpost as appropriate.
• Provide coaching and guidance to employees and junior managers on low level ER matters, and HR policies and processes.
• Support the HR Coordinator with monthly payroll information and documentation, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are adhered to.
• Support the Senior HRBP(s) to ensure that the company complies with current regulations, legislation and professional standards.
• Assist with any ER matters as required, including chairing meetings, arranging meetings, and/or taking minutes.
• Manage, track and coordinate probationary periods for new starters, working closely with Senior HRBP(s) and line managers.
• Prepare employee related documentation throughout the employee lifecycle including contractual amendments and addendums.
• Support the HR Coordinator in executing the onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Advise on any flexible working requests and own the first stage process, supporting both employee and line manager.
• Be the first point of contact on all matters relating to CAA's family friendly policies.
• Support, advise, and guide line managers in respect of performance management processes, be it informal or formal.
• Oversee safeguarding matters and support relevant managers to ensure compliance and best practice.
• Work closely with the Senior HRBP(s) and lead on any matters relating to occupational health.
• Deputise for the HR Coordinator with the arrangement for all new starter onboarding, including organisation of HR Inductions and office tours.
• Alongside the HR Coordinator, ensure that Workday and payroll documentation is updated accordingly.
• Conduct exit interviews where required and ensure all offboarding communications are sent.
• Support the mid-year and year-end review process, with a focus of documentation, communication and delivering any outcomes.
• Support with any HR project work and audits.
• Champion CAA's culture, promote and contribute to HR initiatives and projects.
• Support with ad hoc duties and when deemed necessary.
Recruitment
• Supporting the Recruitment team & Senior HRBP(s) with drafting job descriptions.
• Assist the HR Coordinator with the internal approvals process for new hires, including any internal regulatory due diligence.
• Provide top level advice to hiring managers on any relevant post-termination restrictions in relation to prospective hires.
• Act as the main point of contact to all prospective hires from a HR perspective.
• Draft and review employment agreements, ensuring relevant clauses are included for respective roles.
• Assist in liaising with prospective hires with contractual queries.
• Support the HR Coordinator with HR tasks within the Workday process for new starters, including but not limited to, job requisitions, candidate admin, background checks through Workday and keep all key stakeholders aware of progress.
THE PERSON
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
• At least 3 years of HR experience.
• CIPD level 5 (or working towards) or equivalent industry experience.
• Good understanding of HR (employment law/legislation and HR processes).
• Demonstrable experience of leading on low level ER cases
• Experience of working within the Sports industry.
• Experience of using HRIS, ideally Workday.
• Able to use Adobe and Microsoft packages to a high standard.
• Able to effectively work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
• Experience of working within a fast-paced environment, and able to effectively adapt to changing priorities.
