The Department
CAA's Media & Entertainment Partnerships group provides powerful solutions for brands with world- class media and entertainment companies, talent & IP.
Representing today's most influential talent, producers, entertainment studios, platforms, and streamers, we forge strategic partnerships and content marketing solutions with leading global advertisers.
The department consists of three teams which work collaboratively together: Strategy & Business Development, Sales and Creative.
The Role
CAA is seeking an Assistant to support two Strategy & Business Development executives in our Media & Entertainment Partnerships department based in Los Angeles. The executives are the account leads on key clients and work cross-functionally across the department and with internal/external properNes, clients, and agencies.
The ideal candidate should be motivated, interested in the Entertainment space (Streamers, Studios, Titles, Experiences, Publishers, etc.) and curious about how Entertainment Brand Partnerships are created, packaged, and executed. The candidate should be a quick thinker, a polished communicator (at all levels, internally and externally) and possess solid administrative skills. The individual should be flexible, highly organized and can multi-task under pressure.
Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day needs of two Strategy & New Business Executives, which will include:
• Administrative duties include handling heavy phones, calendar management, note taking, arranging travel, preparing expenses and general office management tasks.
• Quickly learn new systems and take ownership of the process to track all projects, data, leads, etc.
• Excellent follow-up and follow-through to meet deadlines.
• Ongoing industry monitoring and research, staying up to date on current events within the
entertainment and brand partnerships landscape both internally and externally.
• Participate in team brainstorms and contribute to client or new business initiatives with
supporting research, partnership ideation, campaign planning or outlining building.
Qualifications • BA/BS from an accredited University or College preferred.
• Experience with Branded Content or Media is a plus but not required.
• Experience with Sponsorships and Partnerships is a plus but not required.
• Experience working at an agency is a plus but not required.
• Knowledgeable and proactive when it comes to marketing trends, emerging media, consumer
insights & digital/social content.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and
responsibilities at once.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to be flexible with work hours.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong professional interpersonal skills, while understanding the importance of maintaining
confidentiality is a must.
• Must be solutions oriented.
• Computer proficient (Microsoft Office & Keynote a plus).
Compensation
The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $20.00-22.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
