Location: Los Angeles, CA
The Role:
The Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support to an Executive in CAA's Motion Pictures Business Affairs Department. This position is ideal for a self-starter interested in the legal and business aspects of the entertainment industry.
Responsibilities:
• Handle general administrative duties, including answering phones, coordinating meetings and schedules, preparing expense reports, producing correspondence, and managing travel arrangements.
• Maintain awareness of the Executive's obligations, both internal and external, to proactively assist and anticipate needs.
• Effectively communicate with employees across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
• JD strongly preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience as an administrative assistant in a talent agency, management company, or entertainment law firm.
• Interest in pursuing a career in entertainment law or business affairs is a plus.
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, manage multiple projects, and handle competing priorities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and technology.
Compensation:
The base hourly rate for this position is between $20.00 and $22.00. The role also offers eligibility for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Wages may vary depending on factors such as experience, time in the role, and geographic location.
