This is a Full Time Job
The Brand Partnerships Executive will service all music sectors, with a strong emphasis on Hip-Hop and R&B, and will drive relationships with clients focusing on brand deals. The Executive will play a significant role from a signing and servicing standpoint as well as with negotiating terms of contracts, services and fees, endorsements, brand licensing and social media for both new and existing clients. The candidate will work in conjunction with internal account leads to manage the client's brand partnership portfolio, and support national music tours and other live performances. The role includes coordinating program/project timelines, working closely with partners and vendors, planning and managing onsite activations, and providing consistent, high-quality service and communications to clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Work directly with some of the leading brands, marketing agencies and media companies in the world to develop partnerships with our clients
• Create opportunities and partnerships within the marketplace through educating buyers and selling content and talent capabilities
• Develop strategies for growth to advance clients goals and initiatives
• Create new opportunities to build incremental revenue streams for clients
• Communicate the unique value proposition of our clients to brands and agencies through in-person and online meetings and presentations
• Collaborate with creative teams on campaign ideas, development of pitch decks and partnership activations
• Utilize strong prospecting skills to source new partnership opportunities for clients
• Conduct initial outreach to prospective brand partners, track communication, and handle all aspects of the partnership through deal execution and activation
• Communicate our client's unique value proposition to brands and agencies via email, calls, meetings, presentations, and marketing materials
• Collaborate with creative and management teams on partnership ideas/activations and development of pitch materials
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related discipline strongly preferred or equivalent experience preferred
• 7+ years of proven sales experience within a brand and/or agency environment
• Ability to prospect new clients, generate leads, and close complex and creative deals
• Entrepreneurial mindset and approach to everything: self-motivated, resourceful, innovative, forward-thinking, accountable, and committed
• Deep-rooted relationships with brands, marketing and advertising agencies
• Excels in a fast paced, startup environment
• Strong written and oral presentation expertise
• Experience building and leading teams within a broader organization
• Exceptional communicator
• Ability to navigate a complex organization
• Willingness/ability to travel as needed
Location
• This role will be based in our Century City (Los Angeles) office.
Compensation: The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $140,000 - $175,000. T his position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
