The Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for support and implementation of new and existing program processes, oversight of all project schedules, the organization of cross-functional department roles and deliverables, studio workflow, job trafficking, and the effective communication of project status to the creative team. The ideal candidate has prior experience in project management, creative and experiential marketing, with a desire to collaborate with a team that brings ideas to life.
The Department
CAA Brand Consulting is a strategy-led, full-service marketing agency with expertise in Cultural and Consumer Insights, Data and Analytics, Talent/Influencer and Property Partnership Advisory, Experiential, Social Impact, Creative Services, and Content and Digital Strategy. These integrated capabilities come together to offer solutions from planning through execution, and we pull in a collective perspective of expertise with each client brief to ensure we are tapping into diverse thinking and building strategies reflective of the marketplace and culture we work within.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the main point of contact for the Brand Consulting team to engage work with Creative
• Liaise with the Account Management team to plan and schedule resources for upcoming projects
• Estimate, budget, and track new client assignments
• Identify projects and manage schedules for creative team members including designers, animators, editors and writers
• Manage profitable, on-time and smooth fulfillment of multiple projects via the project management tool (Asana)
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget according to the schedule
• Forecast resource capacity and anticipate need for freelance support in a timely manner
• Ensure smooth and seamless communication of day-to-day project details to the client and internal teams
• Ensure that projects are completed according to specs and that Marketing/PR team has needed assets
• Attend regular project meetings to be informed and prepared for incoming work
• Work with global team leaders to provide support for any additional production needs
Requirements
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years' experience project management experience preferably in the areas of creative, experiential marketing, or branding
• Demonstrated experience in a Project / Traffic / Studio Management position, preferably at a fast-paced advertising/creative agency
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a flair for knowing when and how specific stakeholders need visibility on projects
• Exceptional organization skills with the ability to prioritise, pre-plan and manage project related risks and challenges
• Proactive problem-solving capabilities that can rise to the challenge of shifting business priorities
• Previous experience in building strong cross-functional relationships
• Must have the confidence to be firm yet flexible and diplomatic in order to achieve necessary results
• Experience in creating simplified business processes to improve efficiency.
• The ability to gather, present and draw conclusions from resource scheduling data
• Entrepreneurial self-starter who demonstrates comfort with ambiguity and can excel in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience using the project management tool Asana.
Location
The Brand Consulting department offers a flexible work schedule and requires three days per week on site at our New York offices.
Compensation: The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $105,000-$126,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria. Salary/Benefits
$105,000.00 - 126,000.00 per year
