The Role
The CAA Brand Consulting Insights & Analytics Senior Manager will play a key role in some of our most high-profile client work. This position will lead the development of questionnaire design and primary research reporting for a client's Sports and Entertainment portfolio – partnering with Account leads and external agency partners to advise C-suite clients and their teams on how their partnerships have performed and making recommendations using data-driven insights geared toward optimization. In this role, the candidate will interface day-to-day with our Account team and functional colleagues (Creative, Strategy, Experiential, etc.), inter-agency leaders, as well as directly with both junior and senior clients.

Responsibilities
• Lead custom primary research design and implementation within our Brand Consulting division
• Manage and supervise a junior team member who will be responsible for gathering, cleaning, and integrating disparate data sets
• Primary focus on questionnaire development, vendor communication, developing project quotas and specifications
• Primary focus on developing and refreshing reports focused on performance of client sponsorships
• Utilize third-party, internal, and client-owned research tools to aggregate and analyze marketing data
• Use data visualization skills and tools to analyze, package, and communicate reports to key stakeholders, both internally and to external clients
• Leverage data to develop new insights with the goal of improving planning and strategy execution
• Interact directly with clients to manage expectations and meet deadlines
• Assist in developing and innovating analytical tools, vendors, and products for our clients
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant quantitative discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, etc.) or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of primary research techniques and survey design
• Minimum 5+ years of professional research and analytics experience on agency or brand side
• Strong experience in gathering, cleaning, and integrating disparate data sets
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate effectively and persuasively, including the ability to present and adapt to different stakeholders
• Natural curiosity and a demonstrated ability to turn observed data into a story about what behavior is driving it
• Understanding of marketing, brand, and social metrics a plus
Preferred Skills
• Understanding of sports and entertainment and sponsorship a plus
• Experience providing strategic thinking to clients, including identifying, analyzing, problem-solving, and responding to opportunities and challenges with the ability to translate into practical plans of action
• Involvement in assessing return for both B2C and B2B products and services
• Strong knowledge of industry trends and ability to innovate product and service offerings
Location
Based out of the Los Angeles or New York offices. This role is onsite/in office Tuesday thru Thursday and remote Monday and Friday.
Compensation: The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $116,000-$141,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
