The Role
This candidate is a highly- motivated leader and strategic thinker. This candidate should also possess basic accounting technical skills, strong people leadership skills, as well as exceptional collaboration and customer service skills with the ability to multitask. Based in Los Angeles, this position will be in the office at least three days a week and will split time between day-to-day operations and special projects. This is a perfect opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic accounting environment.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate, supervise and/or drive Axiom initiatives and other special projects with outside consultants and internal stakeholders
• Prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting
• Lead development of reports working with Tech, Data and Trust teams and roll reports out to relevant stakeholders
• Analyze outstanding receivable balances, develop plan and follow up with relevant agents, Business Affairs and trust teams
• Coordinate and drive initiatives that span between Treasury and Trust: Converting clients and third parties from checks to ACH/Wire, Coordinate with buyers and clients to move from checks to ACH/Wire, Utilization of new technology
• Analyze Profit Participation statements, identify missing statements or unusual trends and coordinate with Trust to drive resolution
• Evaluate Trust training needs, manage development, drive delivery and ensure materials are refreshed as needed
• Provide support to Trust department as needed, such as project management, communications, processing, follow-up and other tasks as needed
• Assist with ERP implementation (liaise with Tech & Trust) to understand, communicate and assist with requirements
• Assist as needed on difficult or complex client statement reporting for Trust, Legal, Agents, etc.
• Assist with financial transformation projects
• Help with typical trust functions during high-demand periods
Qualifications
• 7-10+ years of progressive experience within a fast-paced & high growth organization
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or related field required
• 5+ years in management or a leadership role
• Ability to drive, adopt and lead others through change.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Power Point
• Understanding of ERP systems and other reporting tools
• Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, complex projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience managing processes and projects that involve collaborating with teams across the organization.
Location: This is a hybrid role based out of our Los Angeles, CA, office.
Compensation: The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $154,000 - $189,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
