Film & TV Assistant

Candle Entertainment is seeking a Film & TV Assistant to support administration needs. We are seeking a self-starter who is well-versed across film and television production and has worked at a large media or entertainment brand. The Film & TV assistant will have the opportunity to work on everything from reading books, scripts, supporting the creation of film and television productions and more.

What You'll Do:
• Manage extremely active calendar of appointments; ensuring the day is schedule and organized in an efficient way
• Assist with planning logistics of meetings as needed
• Organize and prioritize deadlines, follow up on tasks and keep manager informed of progress
• Manage rolling calls, take detailed notes, track and update submission logs and call logs through industry edge or google sheets.
• Prepare comparison drafts for analysis
• Review script changes, format writer, director, talent lists and proactively track project status and action items
• Create project decks for CEO and board presentations* really important, hence highlighted
• Provide managers with detailed beginning and end of day emails.
• Interface with internal and external parties with high level of professionalism
• Book appropriate domestic and international travel, and ensure expense reporting is accurate and submitted in a timely fashion

Requirements
• BA or BS degree or equivalent experience in film, television, required.
• Agency/ entertainment experienced, required.
• Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with senior leaders
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines promptly and efficiently
• Able to learn, understand and apply new technologies
• High level of discretion with confidential and sensitive information
• Critical thinker who is intellectually curious and solution oriented

The compensation for this role is $23 per hour.
