This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Are your interested in learning how to produce Podcast, TV and Film projects? We are looking for interns to help us with our various projects in scripted/reality TV, Film and Podcast platforms with various networks including Bravo, Netflix, WeTV, Spotify and Apple podcasts.
Our work this year has been featured in Forbes, Essence and People Magazine.
Join the exciting team at the Carter Salute Productions and gain real production experience while gaining entertainment experience at the same time! At the end of the internship you will also receive a written recommendation for future job prospects.
Although this a remote position, must be local to Southern California since in person meetings will be in LA. Applications and Interviews will be accepted through August 14th and Zoom Interviews will begin immediately through August 16th. The first day of internship (the orientation) will start on around September 6th and will be virtual. The end of the internship will on or around December 6th.
Interns will work directly with our principal producer, Black Lawyers Podcast host and producer J. Carter who will supervise interns.
Interns are expected to work once a week remotely for 8 hours minimum plus be available for the Friday in person or weekly team call plus post Friday assignments for this day which can be another 2-5 hours. This does not include special events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Podcasts:
-Book Talent
-Secure Podcast Ads
-Create Flyers to promote podcasts
-Create and Edit Video visuals for podcasts
-Post final edited podcast episodes to all major platforms
*TV
-Assist with talent
-Assist with story boards and scripts
-Assist with pitch decks
-Assist with network pitches
-On site filming assistance as needed
*Film
-Assist with pitch decks and film outlines
-Assist with network and distribution pitches
-On site filming assistance as needed
*Administrative
-Social media management (including creation of content) of various project handles
-Research
-Contract review
-Calls And Emails
-Other duties assigned by Principal Carter

Position Requirements:
• • Must have experience with all social media platforms and preferably creating/editing video and flyer content.
• • Demonstrated academic achievement and interest in entertainment and arts
• • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• • Must be a team-player who works well in a collaborative environment.
• • Sound judgment and ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
• • Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects.
-• Solid knowledge of PC/Mac, Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word) and preferably working knowledge of Final Cut Pro (IMovie) and Adobe.
