Broadcast Operations Technician

CBS News Colorado has an immediate opening for a broadcast professional who will have the opportunity to work in innovative studios, control rooms and remote field broadcasts in and around Denver! We’re looking for candidates who enjoy a fast-paced environment covering news, sports and weather across our phenomenal state.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of 2 years TV production and operations experience in a similar size market or comparable operation to those at KCNC required.
• The successful candidate should have the ability to work well with the team in stressful environments and circumstances.
• Live television or similar broadcast experience is required.
• Work under pressure and on a deadline is required.
• Newscast Directing experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand for several hours at a time, sit, lift 25 lbs. and climb ladders is required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $56,000.00 - 65,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
