CBS O&O in Dallas/Fort Worth is seeking an upbeat, multifaceted, extremely motivated multi-platform Account Executive.
Are you passionate about generating new media and digital revenue? If you possess a straightforward, get-it-done positive outlook with strong presentation and interpersonal skills, and have experience working with advertising agencies and/or clients directly, then come grow your network in the new business and digital sales space with our outstanding team!
This position is based out of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This is a hybrid remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Sell television time and digital/new media for KTVT, KTXA, and CBS News Texas digital platforms, including Pluto and Paramount
• Generate revenue with new accounts by prospecting businesses
• Build, develop, and maintain strong working relationships with clients
• Sell across 14 CBS Television Stations group owned & operated markets (multi-market selling)
• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales goals
• Optimally research and cultivate new business clientele
• Develop sales tools to effectively present and position the television station during the sales process
• Handle all paperwork in a timely manner
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience in media preferred
• Persuasiveness, sales ability, results-oriented, ability to demonstrate leadership and team values
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; computer proficiency required
