Administrative Assistant, Current Programming
Position Summary:
CBS Entertainment is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support executives in the Current Programming Department. This department oversees all aspects of CBS scripted television shows at both the studio and network levels, working closely with Showrunners to provide creative feedback and coordinating with various departments such as Casting, Business Affairs, Publicity, and Marketing.
Job Responsibilities:
• Answer phones and roll calls
• Schedule meetings and calls
• Draft memos and reports
• Read scripts, watch cuts, and provide coverage
• Complete expense reports
• Perform additional projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• 1 year of administrative experience preferred
• Previous entertainment industry experience required
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Knowledgeable and passionate about the television industry
• Strong communication, computer, and phone skills
• Good decision-making ability; effective problem solver with anticipation of issues and alternatives
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload accurately
Hiring Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
