KTVT seeks a dynamic self-starter Executive Producer for Weather to tell engaging weather stories, produce graphics, weather-related segments. If you have superior forecasting, storytelling skills, ability to produce easy to understand and informational visuals, maps, and graphics to communicate the weather story to customers every day on air, online and on social media platforms then Market 5 is calling your name.

Responsibilities:

• Covering live severe weather
• Produce weather content, working with a team of meteorologists, and executing station strategy
• Writing and preparing forecasts
• Produce graphics to tell the weather story across multiple platforms, strong social media presence

Preferred Education
, Experience, and Certification Requirements:
• B.S. Degree in Meteorology or Earth Sciences
• At least 5 years experience weather casting or weather producing within a TV Station
• Ability to shoot and edit video
• WSI weather system knowledge and ability to employ all functions on multiple platforms
• Proficient in weather graphics production
• Ability to live field report and write packages
• Strong writing skills for broadcast and digital platforms
• Proven track record of producing stand out weather related content
• Create and manage graphics used during weather within the broadcast
• Strong social media skills

This position is based in Fort Worth working together with other CBS Stations.
