Podcast Producer, Soccer (Freelance)
The podcast space is one of the fastest-growing sectors of the media industry. We are looking for a team-member who knows the soccer world inside and out and possesses a deep knowledge of podcast production and industry trends!
This is a Freelance role based in Stamford, CT for the CBS Sports Golazo Network.
Responsibilities
• Develop seasonal audio programming strategies for our soccer podcasts with the Coordinating Producer
• Produce multiple high-frequency podcasts
• Develop and implement social media plans to grow listeners across key
• platforms for multiple podcasts (This may include YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Threads and Facebook)
• Develop and implement podcast-focused strategies around email and games
• Work closely with Soccer production group daily to develop podcast-adjacent programming
• Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on KPIs for podcasts you produce
• Maintain a close watch on industry trends and provide recurring reports to senior management
• Take current TV shows and find paths to turn the audio into engaging podcasts to maximize content across platforms
Basic Qualifications
• Experience producing audio and video programming
• Minimum 3-5 years working in media
• In-depth soccer knowledge, including men’s and women’s leagues
• Expert analytical expertise with the ability to transform findings into actions
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with experience working with talent and production members
• Ability to work with and lead a collaborative production team and help guide and shape the editorial direction of multiple shows
• Experience working and managing a tight production schedule, translate ideas into action and prioritize a team’s responsibilities
• Strong ability to keep open lines of communication on a team
• Effectively deliver clear, conscientious feedback on both stories and performance
• Adobe Premiere and Audition skills are preferred
• Bilingual abilities are a plus!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $56000.0 - 70000.0.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
