Community Relations Associate (50/50 Raffle Program)

DESCRIPTION:

The Chicago Bulls are seeking a highly motivated, organized and dedicated person to fill the position of Community Relations Associate. As an Associate, you will have the opportunity to take lead of the 50/50 raffle program as well as supporting our fun and dynamic team at a number of events throughout the 2018-19 season. We are seeking someone who is both passionate about service and an emerging leader who is organized and able to run our 50/50 program on game nights. 

This position is seasonal and will start in September 2018 and continue through the end of the season. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for coordinating and managing our 50/50 Program during each home game. More specifically, you will be responsible for the following:
• Develop schedules and build payroll reports for all sellers
• Create and implement training guidelines for new hires
• Lead game-night operations which includes, assigning workers to ''positions''/work stations, monitoring progress of raffle, troubleshooting, counting raffle money, reporting of winning number and amount to Game Operations 
• Build monthly and year-end report on 50/50 Raffle performance
• Analyze data reports and distinguish best-practices to utilize in the 50/50 Program

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

In addition to handling the 50/50 Program, there is also a variety of department activities you will be responsible for that provide support to the department. These responsibilities generally include:
• Assist and attend community outreach initiatives both at the United Center and surrounding local areas
• Provide support of Chicago Bulls Charities 
• Help facilitate autograph sessions with players
• Assist with in-kind donation fulfillments
• Plan and execute one CR event to further expand your professional growth 

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree required
• Previous experience in sales, creative business marketing, entertainment and/or sports 
• Strong communication (both written & verbal).
• Excellent teammate, with positive energy, who has a desire to learn
• Highly organized and meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong work ethic
• Social skills that reflect exclusive examples of teamwork, preparation, collaboration, service and creativity.

Note that this role pays an hourly wage, requires flexible work hours and will include work outside of normal office hours during the business week and on weekends.
