JOB DESCRIPTION
The Chicago Cubs Event Staff plays a vital role in delivering a best-in-class fan experience to guests of Wrigley Field and our campus. Our Event Staff are energetic, engaging, passionate, personable, and welcoming. Through the lens of service, we seek candidates who are focused on the guest experience and strive to create best-in-class customer service for our loyal fans and event guests. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deliver best-in-class customer service to all campus guests
• Assist guests by scanning and checking tickets (event or parking), greeting, and directing ballpark guests, and answering questions about Wrigley Field and campus offerings and policies
• Resolve guest concerns and special requests within the framework provided via the handbook and training while upholding the ''Wrigley Field Fan Code of Conduct''
• Promote a safe and enjoyable experience by identifying and reporting inappropriate behavior, safety risks or medical situations through functional hierarchy
• Use knowledge of Wrigley Field, our campus, and Cubs history to engage fans and guests to deliver exceptional service
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed and as directed by supervisory personnel
• Ability to work indoor and outdoor in a variety of weather conditions and effectively adapt to a changing work environment
• Able to perform the following physical tasks: bend, squat, kneel, climb flights of stairs, walk on uneven ground, walk/run up and down ramps, walk and stand for extended periods of time, assist guests up and down stairs, and wipe down seats or equipment
• Provide guest service creating a safe venue for all guests and associates, assist guests with activities and attractions at events, maintain guest flow and traffic
OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE: At this time we are prioritizing Guest & Security Services roles supporting our newly expanded Winterland event at Wrigley Field. Winterland is scheduled to operate mid-November 2022 – mid-January 2023. More event information can be found at www.Gallagherway.com
Security Service Ambassador
This position will focus on creating a safe and secure environment while creating memories for our loyal fans and event guests. Security Service Ambassadors are responsible for providing security checks at all entry gates/posts including ballpark gates and employee entrances.
• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Ability to work a minimum of two 5-hour shifts per week which would include working: days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• High school diploma or GED
Guest Service Ambassador
This position will focus on delivering friendly service while creating memories for our loyal fans and event guests. Guest Service Ambassadors are responsible for assisting guests at the gates and seating areas.
• Must be at least 16 years or older
• Ability to work a minimum of two 5-hour shifts per week which would include working: days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
