Job Purpose:
The Cincinnati Reds are looking for a Corporate Sales Manager to join the Reds sponsorship partnership team. The ideal candidate has significant sales experience, ideally in sports and/or media advertising sales in the Greater Cincinnati area. This individual is a self-starter, a team player who thrives on competition, closing deals and sees no obstacle as too high. This position works with the other top-notch sales managers in the Corporate Partnerships department to achieve annual revenue goals. This job requires you to develop new business opportunities for the organization to achieve annual individual and team revenue goals, all while working in collaboration with other Reds departments. Ideal candidates will have a proven record of being able to generate new business and create best-in-class client relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for achieving individual Corporate Partnerships sales goals.
• Achieve departmental revenue goals by working with other members of the Corporate Partnerships team.
• Must be able to identify and create custom solutions in real time and to manage multiple tasks without letting details fall through the cracks
• Tracking of all activities in CRM program
Requirements, Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent people skills with an ability to communicate effectively internally and externally
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong track-record of achieving individual sales goals
• Proven ability to create strong relationships and work well with a team
• Track record of being able to create and develop new business opportunities.
• Fluent in the usage of a CRM program
Experience, Education and Licensure:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Sales
• 10 years of sales experience
• Selling experience in the Greater Cincinnati Area
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, or hear. Additional duties may include light lifting/carrying, assisting with event preparation and some manual labor.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Candidate must be willing to work evenings and weekends and be at games when key customers are present.
