Job Purpose: The Cincinnati Reds are hiring individuals to operate sport technology and other equipment at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, OH and Louisville Slugger Field in Louisville, KY. This role will be responsible for collecting KinaTrax data during each home game and other scheduled sessions. This role will also assist with Applied Sports Science responsibilities as needed.

Positions are available in the following city:
• Cincinnati, OH
• Louisville, KY

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Be available to arrive at ballpark at least 4 hours before games and on an as needed basis for other Applied Sports Science opportunities.
• Operate KinaTrax system during all home games and other scheduled sessions.
• Process and upload KinaTrax data after each session.
• Assist with Applied Sports Science responsibilities before and after games as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Advanced knowledge of baseball, including ability to identify pitch types.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and operate new technology.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work long, flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Competence in various software applications for word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as R or Python preferred.

Experience, Education, and Licensure:
• High School diploma or GED; enrolled in or completed undergraduate or graduate degree program in biomechanics, engineering, or related field preferred.

Requirements:
• Available to work all home games and as needed for Applied Sports Science initiatives, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

• This is a seasonal opportunity, and no benefits or relocation will be provided.
• This seasonal position pays an hourly rate of $15/hour. The Technology Assistant can expect to work an average of approximately 20-25 hours per week.
