Associate Producer, Social Publishing

The Associate Producer , Social Publishing for the CNN Digital Editorial team is responsible for optimizing social content and identif ying successful areas of interest across all the platforms served by our Off-Platform and New Audiences team. This role requires an experienced , internet and social media news enthusiast who is extremely organized with exceptional communication and writing skills.

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Curate , produce and/or edit original content and multimedia under the supervision of senior staffers to post across CNN's accounts on social media platforms including Instagram, WhatsApp, X, Facebook, Threads and LinkedIn
• Collaborate and maintain cross-functional relationships with internal partner teams for the purposes of making suggestions, improving and sharing content.
• This role requires at least one weekend day, with a schedule of Sundays to Thursdays or Tuesdays to Saturdays

Qualifications and Experience…
• 1 + years of journalism experience
• P revious experience in social media at a reputable media organization
• Degree or a wealth of real-world experience in Communications, Journalism, Media, English, Digital Media or Interactive Technology
• Expert in multi-tasking
• Video editing and Photoshop experience
• Relevant experience and passion in using social media as a publishing and audience engagement tool
• Proven track record of creating engaging content (written, video, social) that drives traffic and engagement
• Sound editorial judgment
• Deep understanding of multiple platforms and different devices is preferred

Pay Range: $52,503.00 - $97,506.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
