Role Overview:
CNN is hiring a Talent Executive Assistant to provide a wide range of administrative support to show Anchors. This position involves managing a demanding, ever-changing calendar, coordinating travel, preparing materials, and interacting with high-profile talent and executives.
Responsibilities:
• Schedule appointments, maintain and update daily calendars.
• Organize and coordinate meetings, preparing and distributing materials, agendas, and notes.
• Arrange travel, transportation, and hotel accommodations through the corporate travel system.
• Coordinate with other departments and administrative assistants to support the Anchor.
• Answer and screen calls, respond to inquiries, and provide routine information as appropriate.
• Manage expense reports, purchase orders, and monthly budget reconciliations.
• Compose emails, forms, proposals, and prepare presentations or briefing documents.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent skills and experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in executive or talent administrative roles.
• Proficient in Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G Suite, Slack, Zoom, Box, and database management.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, initiative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• On-call availability 24/7, reachable by mobile phone.
