Community Assistant – 50/50 Raffle
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Colorado Rockies are looking for a part-time, seasonal Community Assistant to support our 50/50 Raffle program and assist with community affairs initiatives throughout the season. This position supports game day operations and community-based programs, including youth baseball and softball events, player family services, and fan engagement efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and is interested in learning more about community relations in professional sports.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (Seasonal-Part Time)
50/50 Raffle Support
• Assist with planning and logistics to help grow the 50/50 Raffle program.
• Coordinate volunteer schedules, credentials, and day-of-game check-ins.
• Implement and support training for raffle volunteers.
• Oversee raffle kiosks and ensure coverage in designated locations throughout the ballpark.
• Support in-game raffle promotion and fan interaction.
• Maintain raffle equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Assist winners with completing claim forms.
• Serve as a point of contact for raffle partners on behalf of the club.
Community Affairs Support
• Assist with game-day operations in the Players' Family Room.
• Support youth baseball/softball programs, school visits, and community clinics.
• Participate in charity drives, community events, and Rockies outreach efforts.
• Help with Coors Field Tours and general event coordination.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• 2 years of experience supporting community affairs and/or nonprofit industry.
• Must be comfortable working with technical and creative tools such as Canva, Photoshop, Excel, and any analytical experience (Tableau) is a plus.
• Must be able to perform physical activities indoors/outdoors, which may require lifting, repetitive bending/reaching, and running.
• Possess the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Must have excellent customer service skills with a high level of comfort speaking in front of large groups.
• Must be able to work effectively with a broad range of people.
• Must have the ability to maintain a professional working relationship with players and player families.
• Professional demeanor with consistent, punctual, and regular attendance
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Ability to work in a combination of office and outdoor environments.
• Must be able to traverse the ballpark throughout a shift.
• May occasionally be required to lift and transport materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• May require standing or walking for extended periods, as well as bending, reaching, or other repetitive motions.
• Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season.
COMPENSATION RANGE:
• $18.81 per hour. This is a seasonal, part-time position that is not eligible for company health and welfare benefits.

WORK SCHEDULE & ENVIRONMENT:
This role is a seasonal position that starts in early April and ends around September 21, 2025. The work schedule is as follows:
• This role must work each home game and select community events, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• During weeks with a homestand, this role will need to report to work about 3 hours before the game starts and stay until the end of the game (about 6-7 hours per game).
• During off weeks when the team is away, this role may work 5-10 hours.
The role will have two types of environments, office setting and outdoors:
• In an open office or cubicle setting, perform administrative duties at a desk, including computer-based tasks, email correspondence, and program coordination.
• Event support: may occur outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
