Animation & Graphics Supervisor
Overview:
Graphics & Animation Supervisor needed for a true-crime documentary series. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of animation and graphics pipelines between third-party vendors and the production team. This role combines creativity with logistics as this position will be responsible for managing a high volume of elements, staying on schedule, and handling requests and creative direction from Executive Producers. There will be an initial part-time consulting period at the start of this project.

Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary liaison between:
• Animation vendor
• Graphics vendor
• Show Executive Producer (EP) and creative team
• Post Supervisor and Line Producer
• Work with EP to define creative expectations for graphic and animation elements
• Review graphics and animations from vendors, offering creative and technical guidance to ensure EP's vision is fully realized at each stage.
• Track animation deadlines and provide regular updates to EP, Post Supervisor, and Line Producer on any changes in schedule or milestones.
• Collaborate with vendors to lead calls with production, creative, and network teams to ensure notes and creative direction remain within the project scope.
• Advise the creative and network teams on which notes are feasible at each stage of production.
• Maintain detailed records of animation and GFX notes from the creative team and network.
• Monitor status of notes to ensure they're completed, flagging any creative or technical issues that may cause delays.
Please note that March and early April will be on a consulting base. The job will then turn into a full time role 4/14 through 12/5.
Salary/Benefits
$3,000.00 - 3,000.00 per week
