Mid-size talent management company is seeking an in-office, full-time Assistant to support the Talent and Literary departments. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills with high level clients, manage an organized administrative process, and be computer savvy with InEntertainment, Breakdowns, and Google Services. These are busy desks that require a strong degree of client contact, scheduling, submissions, research, reading, and project tracking. An authentic desire to become a talent manager or literary manager is a plus.
Responsibilities
• Maintains a strong organizational and filing system, requiring a thorough knowledge of all ongoing projects and activities and their associated materials.
• Schedule meetings, conference calls, events, and coordinate any other communications between the talent department, clients and external partners.
• Provide administrative support to the talent department, including phone coverage, calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reports, mail, filing, copying, office supplies and other departmental administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
• 4-year degree required or equivalent work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• 1-2 years of entertainment industry experience is preferred as this is a promotable desk.
• Proficiency with inEntertainment, iMovie, and Microsoft Suite.
• Must be highly organized, demonstrate attention to detail, and be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Due to a high volume of information and material flowing through the department, must be able to manage and disseminate it punctually, properly and confidentially.
