Daily News Video Editor (3-Month Contract)
Start Date: March 1st
Duties: Edit 2 videos per day
Compensation: $16,250 - $18,750 for Full Project DOE
Location: Remote (Core team is based in Los Angeles but this job is 100% remote)

We are a multi-channel digital production company with over 10 billion views on YouTube alone. We're looking for an Editor to join our team on a 3-month contract and collaborate with a Producer to create high-quality daily content. This role is perfect for a skilled editor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work efficiently under structured timelines to deliver polished videos.

Key Responsibilities
Edit 2 videos per day, ensuring content meets quality and tone standards while still meeting firm deadlines
Work closely with a Producer to implement feedback and deliver final videos on time.
Apply visual and audio elements to enhance storytelling including music, graphics, animations, and sound effects as needed
Maintain consistency in style and quality across all videos within the channel's established brand.
Prepare files for upload, ensuring all technical specifications are met.

Requirements
Proven experience in video editing, preferably for YouTube or other digital platforms.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition.
Experience selecting and pulling clips and other assets from CMS systems or other sources to construct edited video
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a structured production environment.
Ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent style across videos.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with a Producer and other team members.

Bonus Skills
Experience editing content related to current events, geopolitics, or military news.
Familiarity with YouTube content strategies and trends.
Knowledge of YouTube's technical requirements for videos, including metadata optimization.
Creative storytelling skills with an eye for pacing, timing, and audience engagement.

Working Conditions
Remote work primarily on US Pacific time.
Structured production environment with clear daily deliverables and expectations.
Opportunity to collaborate with an international team, which may occasionally require work outside traditional 9-5 hours.
This is a contract role focused on producing high volumes of content efficiently and on time.
Potential for a long term arrangement based on the success of the 3-month contract
