Day-To-Day Artist Manager (Music)
We are pursuing a driven and motivated full-time employee to fill the role as Day-to-Day Manager for a full-service artist management company based in Los Angeles, CA.
Role Responsibilities:
• Will act as the primary point of contact for assigned artists, acting as a liaison between artists, the senior managers, and multiple parties and teams (internally and externally)
• Assist with planning and execution of artist music campaigns, including global release schedules, promo, social media plans, press, marketing and touring.
• Develop and execute long-term career strategies and overall artist brand development
• Maintaining and coordinating multiple Artists calendars and scheduling. Expected to coordinate internal and external client-based meetings and affairs. Will be expected to send out weekly and daily.
• Schedule team calls (internal & external) and take notes. Expected to confirm calls and formulate agendas at least 24 hours in advance
• Maintain company databases with current information including contact sheets, artist catalogs, release paperwork, etc.
Skills Required:
• Located in Los Angeles, CA
• Have a general understanding of what goes into the release of music from an admin, legal, and marketing perspective
• Proactive and resourceful, able to work under minimal direction as a self-starter
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure while maintaining multiple deadlines and priorities
• Detailed-oriented, meticulous and thorough
• Persistent and determined when following through with brisk deadlines and tasks
• Go-getter with a positive attitude
• Strong interpersonal skills, while understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality and working with high profile talent.
• Excellent and professional written and oral communication skills
• Experience as a Day-to-Day Manager preferred
• 1-2 years previous experience as an administrative assistant at an artist management company or record label is recommended
