Executive Assistant - Development
Overview:
We are seeking a creative and organized executive assistant to support several senior executives at a leading television studio.
The targeted base salary is $52,000 (overtime eligible) including full benefits, with the final compensation package commensurate with candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
• Handle administrative duties for development executives, including scheduling meetings, calls and pitches.
• Maintain detailed project submission grid and tracking document.
• Seek out IP, potential talent and other up-and-coming content through research and networking
• Send weekly industry news, trends, premieres and assignment newsletter
• Ideate and pitch unscripted content ideas on a weekly basis
• Support meetings and initiatives; team with other executive assistants; assist with special projects, including offsite events, conferences, and/or presentations.
• Arrange all domestic and international travel plans for executives.
• Process expense reports in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in television, supporting high level creative executives.
Experience at a talent agency and/or in unscripted television is a strong plus.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with major industry players (agents, network executives, other studios).
Self-starter with the ability to prioritise, organize and establish administrative procedures.
Strong typing skills, understanding of Microsoft and Google Suite applications.
Proficiency with Powerpoint and Canva to create decks and presentations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to multitask; excellent follow-through.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion; to exercise good judgement; to interact professionally with high-level executives; and to maintain a calm, positive demeanor.
Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented, and able to take initiative to work independently. Comfortable and confident working in a high pressure and dynamic environment, in different time zones and with various cultures.
Enthusiasm for unscripted storytelling and international programming.
