Personal Assistant to Busy Movie Producer
Job Description:
We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of the Executive Assistant to a busy movie producer. This is a unique opportunity for a talented and dedicated individual to become an indispensable part of a fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will be good with kids and comfortable assisting with children's activities, have excellent organizational and communication skills, and be a self-starter who is comfortable working both independently and with a team. Candidate must also be discreet with handling personal and confidential information.
Candidate must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive as needed in the NY/NJ area, as well as the flexibility to work some evening/weekend hours on occasion. Please submit a cover letter illustrating why you would make a good fit as well as a resume for consideration.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain the daily schedule, including appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring all obligations are met promptly and efficiently.
• Coordinate complex travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience.
• Oversee personal errands, such as shopping and returns and making reservations.
• Assist in managing correspondence, emails, and phone calls, prioritizing and responding to them in a timely manner.
• Handle confidential information with utmost discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
• Act as a gatekeeper, screening and managing requests from various parties, while also working in collaboration with different departments.
• Remain adaptable to the dynamic nature of the entertainment industry and be willing to assist with additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
• Must be able to write script coverage.
• Must feel comfortable with working/assisting kids
• Must have a drivers license and be able to commute to the NJ area.
• Previous experience as a personal assistant to talent is required. This isn't a 9 to 5 desk job - there are errands and possibly light travel.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication styles to different audiences.
• Proficient in using technology and various software applications, such as scheduling tools, productivity apps.
• A friendly and approachable demeanor with exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Salary/Benefits
$50,000.00 per year
