Film Editor - Docudrama

Hi there!

We are currently producing a docu-drama featuring famous rock/jazz musicians. We're in the early stages of post and are seeking an up-and-coming film editor to join our team.

This unpaid opportunity (deferred) would be perfect for a student looking for a stepping stone into the documentary/film industry. We are creating a sizzle reel and potentially editing a 60-minute pilot episode of the limited series.

The ideal candidate should be:
• Self-motivated and able to work independently (we'll guide but won't micromanage).
• Passionate about storytelling and eager to showcase their editing talent on a real-world project.
• Passionate about music- rock, jazz, blues, fusion -which is central to the project's narrative.

Even though the holidays are upon us, we want to begin looking at interested candidates now and throughout January. The current post-production schedule starts in February 2025.
