Intern - Documentary Post Production

Great opportunity to see how a one-hour documentary is built frim an award winning producer editor.
Are you passionate about Americana, social commentary and eager to get hands-on experience in the documentary world? We are seeking a motivated part-time intern to assist on an exciting documentary project with an award-winning producer/editor. This is a hybrid position with some in-office work required in West Los Angeles, making it an ideal opportunity for someone based in Southern California who wants to gain real-world experience in the film industry.

Responsibilities:

Assist with reviewing and organizing archival and new material.
Create selects and assist in preparing materials for the documentary promotional.
Conduct research on relevant topics to support the project.
Observe and participate in the creation of a promo sizzle for a larger multi-part documentary series.

Requirements:

Available for 10-20 hours per week.
Must be able to work hybrid in-office part of the time (West Los Angeles location).
Currently based in Southern California.
Passion for storytelling and social commentary.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of non-linear editing systems (e.g., Avid, Premiere) is a plus but not required.
