JUNIOR AGENT
Busy, mid-size, talent agency seeks a Junior Agent to participate in supporting the agency's international roster, focusing on production (below-the-line) clients.

The Jr. Agent will be responsible for servicing existing production clients of the agency. The position requires a communicative and thoughtful individual who is a self-starter. The candidate must possess a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong interest in below-the-line representation and production. The ability to multi-task is essential.
Essential Skills:
Impeccable organizational and time management skills and strong attention to detail
Expert level communicator with the ability to interface effectively (both written and verbal) with clients, buyers and members of the filmmaking community at every level
Passion for film and a deep understanding of film production and filmmaking crafts
Knowledge of directors, producers, executives and other key people in the film industry
Must possess a discerning, creative eye for talent along with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts in an engaging manner
Excellent interpersonal skills: thoughtful, personable, flexible, resourceful, trustworthy, outgoing, and with a positive, collaborative demeanor
Desire and capacity to operate in an incredibly fast-paced, high-energy environment
Self-starter; able to learn new functions quickly and accurately; anticipate needs and take proactive steps to follow through with proposed solutions or alternatives
Remain calm under pressure and work well with various personality types
Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
The art of following up and following through
Core responsibilities include:
Heavy phones and email communication
Interfacing with buyers and submitting clients for appropriate projects
Curating and managing client materials, including reels and resumes; assist in long-term client development
Negotiating all aspects of bookings and contracts with support from other team members.
Managing client calendars, attending to accounting and other administrative needs.
Attend festivals, industry events, and meetings outside normal business hours
Social media management
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Talent Agency or Physical Production Experience necessary. A minimum of at least 4 years experience in the Entertainment Industry.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university required.
Proficiency in Apple-based Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), basic Google systems (Mail, Sheets, Docs, Chat) and video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Hangouts, etc.). Experience in Airtable and Adobe Creative Suite (or other media-based programs) is helpful.
Knowledge of social media platforms and experience with Later and Canva
• Candidate must reside in the greater Los Angeles area and have reliable transportation.
• Work environment is currently in-person office.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 DOE
