As a Label Relations Partner, you will be a key point of contact for our label and industry partners who works on building great internal and external relationships that deliver excellent partnership for customers and artists.
The Label Relations team owns the existing music relationships, and brand partnerships collaborative efforts internally and externally around content launches, events, and cross-category promotions. Label Relations Managers work closely with Programming, Marketing, Editorial, Merchandising, Content Acquisition, Operations, and International teams.
Key job responsibilities
The Label Relations Manager will be responsible for the following:
• Acting as an ambassador and advocating for the company within the music industry
• Use pre-existing relationships within the music industry (labels, artists, managers) to create new opportunities to grow the company's presence and partnerships.
• Creating and driving end-to-end campaigns in collaboration with internal teams at company
• Directly managing the day-to-day relationship with select music labels and music publishers
• Converting new opportunities into campaigns that drive the company's business goals
• Planning and executing numerous projects, analyzing performance and optimizing future campaigns based on their results
• Supporting new release planning and launches
• Contributing to various company projects from a content and analytics perspective
• Balancing day-to-day business needs with long-term business goals
• Maintain music cultural expertise by monitoring industry trends and identifying new opportunities
•Provide best-in-class support for assigned label partners.
•Develop marketing and promotion strategies tailored to music partners and monitoring the performance of those strategies within campaigns in order to suggest operational and product updates and improvements.
•Maintain a highly collaborative cross functional approach for the purpose of developing promotional products and partnership campaigns.
•Manage and deliver product and partner specific research efforts including consumer insights, consumer segmentation, competitive intelligence, industry trends, and developments.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 5+ years experience with Label Relations, account management or sales
· Knowledge of music industry and digital media landscape
· Sound work ethic with strong attention to detail
· Experience in project management and/or driving cross-team collaborations
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Experience in team-oriented work environment
· Bachelor's degree required
