A boutique management and production company in Santa Monica is looking to add an experienced Literary Manager to join. Co reps an array of writers, directors, animation personnel and comic book creators among others.
This is a Commission-Only (with generous splits) position. Do not apply if Commission-Only does not work for you.
As a Literary Manager, you will identify, recruit, and manage writers and directors within the film and television arenas and build a book of business in addition to assisting with the company's existing client list.
This is a position that you could apply to if you have worked as a Lit Agent, Lit Manager, or Assistant or other supportive function in a lit department for at least a year. Please do not apply if you have no lit experience.
-Managers MUST have agency or management experience to qualify.
-For those with experience, you know the drill. If you don't know what the job entails, sorry but you aren't qualified.
-Degrees are great but can you sell?
-Plays well with others.
-Self Starter. It would seem obvious.
