Looking for a Nashville based marketing coordinator for a hybrid position, with emphasis on digital marketing.
A Marketing Coordinator is the day-to-day manager of the artist's organization. You know what's happening today - you help the artist manager figure out what's happening tomorrow.
Responsibilities include coordinating all day to day operations for the artist:
• Scheduling (Tour press, Setting up press during an album campaign, Updating artist on announces, upcoming confirmed events, etc., Promo days: looking at the schedule and determining where promo days can be applicable. Working with publicists and Tour Managers to arrange logistics and budget)
• Assisting with booking travel
• Assisting with the development of marketing plans
• Coordinating events
• Updating tour schedules and band calendars
• Website content and managing social media profiles
• Help digital department managers create and manage multiple weekly content calendars
• Strategize and execute innovative goal oriented social media marketing campaigns
• Monitor all channels and provide strategic guidance & feedback based on analytics / responses to campaigns and posts
• Approvals - assisting manager on getting them from artist when needed (Merchandise, Artwork, Advertising Copy, Social Media Posts, VIP Packages, Etc.)
• Liaising with artist's team if needed
• Seeing through the execution of timelines
• Managing and distributing artist promotional schedules to Tour Manager
• Strategizing, coordinating, creating, and executing all marketing activities across all departments
• Assisting responsible managers with any required administrative duties
• Working with other team members to coordinate effective promotions and take advantage of related promotional inventory
• Strategize on current and emerging music industry development for artists
• Coordinating sessions with record company, writers, producers, mastering engineers, videos, photoshoots, travel, etc.
• Assist responsible manager on all campaigns for the client including: album releases, tour announcements, special events, etc.
• Researching information as it pertains to daily business
• Gathering data to help the company market the products and image of the company's clients
• Studying and analyzing consumer demographics, preferences, and buying habits, among others
• Accompanying client to events, red carpet, appearances, signings, etc.
• Responding to media inquiries, fan requests, and donation requests
• Interfacing with all marketing departments to ensure all marketing plans are being executed
• Making sure an artist's social media platforms & website are updated regularly with exciting content that fits into their brand
• Studying and analyzing techniques to appeal to consumers of different backgrounds to increase growth and social media engagement for the clients
• Building and maintaining relationships with: streaming services, radio (satellite), agents, other managers, producers, writers, labels, etc.
• Correcting all suggested marketing copy on behalf of the artist i.e.: Press releases, Advertisements etc.
