Model Booking Assistant

This is a Full Time Job - IN OFFICE - 100% in person.

WE ARE SEEKING a model and talent booking assistant for an established modeling agency based in the San Fernando Valley. We looking to grow our roster and add new talent for print and commercials and instagram influencer placements.
PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU HAVE WORKED AT ANOTHER AGENCY FOR AT LEAST 1 YEAR.

QUALIFICATIONS:
At least one year at a previous model agency
Excellent verbal, phone, and written communication
Ability to take the lead - set up meetings, castings, and problem solve
Ability to scout and find new faces.
Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work Monday - Friday.
Individuals must be organized and have excellent interpersonal/effective written & verbal communication.
Sensitivity toward topics such as body image, disabilities, gender, etc
Adaptable, self-motivated, good at prioritizing, and solution/results-driven - excited to make things happen.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client outreach
Submit talent to projects via online platforms
Direct client communications and client outreach
Build model portfolios in our platform
Scout new faces
Weekly check-ins- be willing to show what you bring to the table in terms of client development and outreach
Attend events
You must be able to get on the phone and speak to client - if you are not used to taking actual calls this may not be the best position for you. This position requires a lot of social engagement and conversations. This position requires calling our existing clients to check in.

REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma and 1 year of experience in the entertainment industry. Prefer to find someone who has experience with models and talent including previous booking agent experience; or any combination of experience and training which would provide the level of knowledge, skills, and ability required.

SALARY:
Base salary (based on experience) Starting rate 18.00 per hour

SCHEDULE:Full time schedule 9- 6 pm with 1 hour lunch break.
