Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Personal Assistant to support a creative and entrepreneurial married couple and their teenaged son. One is a YouTube personality, with an active side project in music, and the other is an Interior Designer. This role is a blend of lifestyle management, family support, household coordination, and occasional creative assistance.
The ideal candidate has prior experience as a personal assistant, is proactive, highly responsive, and solution-oriented, with the ability to create workflows, systems, and processes, manage up effectively, and demonstrate a strong sense of discretion and professionalism.
This position requires the employee to be based in Los Angeles, with the ability to work from the company office at least 2 days per week and the couple's home the remaining days per week. This role also requires access to a form of reliable transportation.
Physical demands associated with this role include lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs, regularly walking up an extended driveway and climbing stairs to access the home for errands, groceries and deliveries, driving a motor vehicle, occasional bending and moving some furniture and boxes.
Responsibilities:
Executive & Creative Support: Provide high-level personal and professional support to the couple, ensuring their daily priorities are managed efficiently and thoughtfully . Act as a gatekeeper, streamline workflows, anticipate challenges, and proactively manage logistical tasks. Working alongside their Executive Coordinator , oversee the couple's respective to-do lists, ensuring timely completion of action items,
proactively flagging priorities, and following up as needed.
Communication: Act as a trusted communicator across all areas of the household and personal life. Ensure messages, requests, and updates related to all projects, tasks, and responsibilities are acknowledged and addressed promptly and with a high level of professionalism..
Calendar & Schedule Management: Oversee and maintain the family's calendar , ensuring the couple's personal, family , and professional
commitments are seamlessly integrated. Manage appointments, meetings, pickups/dropoffs and personal engagements with attention to detail, while proactively addressing scheduling conflicts and rescheduling needs to ensure smooth
coordination across both careers.
Home & Lifestyle Management: Manage household operations and implement systems to streamline workflows for the family , ensuring a well-organized and functional environment that supports both partners' creative focus. Manage the family's day-to-day needs, including school schedules, family outings and personal time to create space for quality time together. Maintain physical organization in the home to ensure a tidy and functional space - indoor and out, and provide dog care, including occasional dog walks and transportation to grooming appointments.
Travel & Logistics: Arrange and manage travel for both personal and family needs, including booking accommodations, coordinating transportation, and preparing detailed itineraries. Work closely with each partner to align travel plans with their schedules and commitments, and check in regularly to ensure all logistics are running smoothly.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience supporting creative professionals, entertainers, or individuals with dynamic personal and professional needs.
Excellent Communication: Extremely responsive, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Calendar Management Skills: Proven ability to manage complex schedules, maintain multiple calendars, coordinate meetings, and anticipate conflicts.
Task Management: Skilled at creating systems and workflows, owning to-do lists, tracking deadlines, and managing up effectively .
Attention to Detail: Highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented in all aspects of work.
Adaptability: Able to juggle multiple tasks and shifting priorities with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative & Positive Attitude: A warm, proactive presence who takes pride in supporting others and contributing to a well-functioning, creative household.
Attention to Detail: High level of organization, accuracy , and attention to detail.
Passion for Organization: Experience in creating orderly , functional environments by organizing physical spaces with intention and efficiency. Brings a thoughtful, systems-driven approach to maintaining a well-structured home and workspace.
Physical Requirements: Lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs, walking moderate distances, regularly walking up a steep extended driveway and climbing flights of stairs to access the home's entrance, driving, bending and moving some furniture and boxes. Love for dogs is essential!!
