LA-based production company is looking for a dedicated, passionate, low-key, highly-motivated Production Assistant who wants to learn and grow. The ideal candidate will be upbeat and communicative with excellent organizational skills. The candidate will also have interest in expanding their knowledge of the industry by learning the ins and outs of a full-service production company. We want this person to grow into a bigger job by performing at a level that makes everyone better.
This Production Assistant (PA) will provide support to both production and post-production across the company. This is a role that requires the ability to be both on set and in office. Duties include:
General in-office work to aid in both pre- and post-production including:
• Assisting with shoots on set by organizing gear, setting up equipment and providing help where needed
• Sourcing gear for upcoming projects
• Coordinating with crews to ensure smooth production
• Wiping and clearing hard drives and other assets in accordance with media ingesting and logging protocols
• Transcribing interviews and videos as needed
• Assisting in sourcing video assets
• Providing support for Editors
• Maintaining and coordinating camera equipment for shoots
• Maintaining and tracking incoming and outgoing media assets
• Delivering gear and media to various studios and vendors across Los Angeles
• Working closely with Producers and Editors on a daily basis
• Assisting production staff with various tasks (research, crew lists, maps, call sheets, travel itineraries)
• Greeting visitors, ensuring proper sign in and security protocols are followed
• Stocking office (food and supplies)
• Checking and distributing mail
• Answering phones
• Ordering and organizing lunches for staff
• Overall office tidying and organizing
• Updating social media
Required qualifications:
• Motivation

• Ability to work with complete and total discretion and be sensitive to confidential information (company-provided background check
required)
• Previous experience working in film and TV production
• At least a Bachelor's degree in film/TV or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to work in office near Burbank
• An understanding of office dynamics and acceptable and respectful employment
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and creative environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive and able to work independently, while knowing when to seek appropriate guidance
• Positive and go-getting attitude
• Access to a reliable vehicle
