Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and resourceful Senior Day-to-Day Manager to join our team. This role will involve overseeing the daily operations for iconic music artist's estate, ensuring smooth coordination between the core management team and supporting team (Label, Publisher, Publicist, Business Management, Lawyers, Partners, Producers, etc.). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, possess strong interpersonal skills, have a deep passion for the music industry, and an ability to juggle multiple tasks all while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as one of the main points of contact for the estate and manager, liaising directly with the artist estate's members.
• Handle any issues or emergencies that arise on a daily basis with a calm and professional demeanor. Be able to troubleshoot and resolve conflicts swiftly.
• Help establish short & long term plans and execution of campaigns, releases, promotions, and partnerships.
• Ensure all necessary arrangements are in place and client's needs & requests are best met.
• Address and resolve ad hoc issues or unexpected challenges that may arise in the estate's day-to-day operations.
• Work closely with legal and business management teams to ensure payments, expenses and contracts are managed and adhered to.
• Act as primary point of contact for core & support teams to ensure expectations & deliverables are clearly defined and met. Oversee administrative tasks including scheduling, communication, file maintenance, travel, etc.
* This role is hybrid (remote and in office, as needed) and will require flexibility in hours, with occasional nights and weekends. Travel will be required based on meetings and campaign schedules.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in entertainment industry and a strong understanding of industry dynamics & standards.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure & nuanced environment, and manage multiple competing priorities.
• A passion for music and artist & brand development.
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate with high level executives.
• Proficiency in industry software and tools (e.g., MS Office, Dropbox, Google Suite, project management tools, and social media platforms).
