Job Overview
Our Digital Marketing team is immediately seeking an experienced part time freelance social media & community manager to help oversee and execute an exciting new animated feature film for its 10-week theatrical release campaign!
This role will partner closely with the VP, Digital Marketing and the creative production team. You have experience with copywriting, building out content calendars, conceptualizing social creative, publishing to popular platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X/Twitter,) and engaging directly with audiences on social channels.
Responsibilities:
• Provide top-notch communication skills in a fast-paced and flexible role.
• Craft clever and on brand social copy based on the tone of voice and characters we are emulating through various social channels.
• Manage content calendars, and other planning documents, with multiple high-level stakeholders.
• Understand algorithms and post timing to provide recommendations.
• Share creative ideas and trends that take our clients accounts to the next level.
• Participate in weekly client check-in to discuss goals and scheduling.
Qualifications
• 5+ years experience in social media and community management, preferably in the theatrical film space.
• A passion and excitement for kids and family movie content.
• Best-in-class attention to detail in writing and workflow.
• Clever and well-crafted copywriting skills bespoke to each platform.
• Expert in social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram (in-feed and stories,) Facebook, Threads, and X/Twitter.
• Highly organized expert in project management and handling digital assets.
• Experience in scheduling content natively, as well as using platforms like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.
Availability
• Mon-Fri: on average 5-6 hours daily (available as needed)
• Mon- Fri: 10-10:30AM PST daily internal check-ins (required)
• Wed: 4PM-5PM PST for weekly client calls (required)
• On call and available for occasional evenings and weekends for release events and holiday coverage.
• Note: you will need to be flexible with your schedule and nimble with planning as campaigns can pivot very quickly.
salary details
• This part time freelance position will be $1000 per week, at 10 weeks.
• Note: there is potential for this campaign to be extended, and for future opportunities at the company!
