Social Media Manager - Music/TV/Film Client
We are looking for a passionate content creator who is social media savvy and has experience in creating engaging content. The role requires a particular focus on our client's Music, Film, and TV projects. You will be responsible for creating, supporting, and implementing our social media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing efforts. We are specifically looking for an individual who has creativity, curiosity, and knack for following ALL social media platforms. Content capture video and photo, as well as editing experience is a MUST.
The applicant must also have experience and a comprehensive understanding of how to manage a music artist's online footprint. This includes an awareness of best practices across all platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, Twitter and more. Clear communication, excellent project management skills, and the ability to multi-task is a must.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and implement the master posting calendar across all platforms.
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy including the creation
of social media assets.
- Partner with social platforms to identify new opportunities and develop creative
activations.
- Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies.
- Produce and shoot content both video and photography with client.
- Repurpose content specifically centering around music releases, tour
announcements, TV and film projects, lifestyle and more.
- Work with client to shoot B Roll/Behind the Scenes content for use across all platforms.
- Attend weekly meetings with all client's teams to keep up to speed on how best to support
projects via creative ideas, planning out a posting strategy, online marketing campaigns,and more.
- Co-ordinate with Management, Publicists, Marketing Team, Record Label, TV and Film
agents, and Social Impact partners to come up with creative content ideas.
- Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimization across all platforms.

- Oversee creative ideation and development to deliver innovative, best-in-class
campaigns for our client and his fans
- Monitor campaigns regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy, making
recommendations for continuous improvement
- Report weekly to senior staff and managers, providing actionable insights and campaign
updates.
- Build and maintain relationships with social media platform representatives and participate in regular update meetings
Requirements and Qualifications
- 1 - 2 year of experience in social media strategy, using social media for brand awareness and impressions.
- Extensive knowledge of best practices across YouTube, Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and more.
- Experience with running paid ad social media campaigns.
- Experience using Photoshop and Premiere/iMovie to edit videos in order to create and
repurpose content for social media assets.
- Ability to shoot B-Roll and behind the scenes content.
- Experience using a camera for photography.
- Experience in setting up and managing live interactions with fans across social media
platforms.
- Experience working with record labels, PR companies, and agencies in support of a
client's online and social needs.
- Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
