Role Summary:
The Social Media Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding our festival's digital footprint and driving engagement through innovative social media strategies. This role demands a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for film and digital trends, capable of fostering interactive relationships with our audience and enhancing our brand's presence across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy and Execution:
Develop and curate engaging content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Threads.
Produce high-quality, on-brand content in collaboration with the creative and marketing teams.
Maintain a consistent posting schedule across all platforms to optimize engagement, aligning with key festival events and marketing campaigns.
Source, edit, manage, organize, and compile videos and content from various mediums including but not limited to: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn via content calendar and other mediums of communication
Update, organize and curate content calendar on a consistent basis.
Utilize festival's aggregated footage, videos and sizzles from past years to edit and create new reels, carousels and other promotional material on all social platforms.
Develop a strategic content strategy and content system.
Audience Engagement:
Actively engage with our community across platforms by responding to comments, messages, and mentions within an hour of initial post.
Cultivate a vibrant community atmosphere by encouraging user-generated content and fostering interactive dialogues.
Comment, interact and follow new profiles and organizations to stimulate increased followers.
Analytics and Optimization:
Monitor, track, and analyze social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and platform-specific analytics to gauge engagement, reach, and growth.
Prepare detailed monthly reports to highlight successes, identify areas for improvement, and adjust strategies to maximize results.
Campaign and Project Management:
Plan and execute comprehensive social media campaigns that support influencer collaborations, pass sales, and promotional events.
Work closely with the founders, graphic designer, and relevant team members to ensure that social media strategies are integrated with broader marketing objectives.
Manage budgets and oversee paid advertising campaigns to ensure effective use of resources for maximum return on investment.
Trend Monitoring and Innovation:
Keep abreast of the latest social media trends and technological advancements to keep our strategy ahead of the curve.
Experiment with new and innovative content formats to continually refresh our social media offerings.
Implement new features within target platforms to enhance algorithm visibility and success.
Explore and secure brand partnerships and collaborations that align with and enhance our festival's strategic goals.
Skills:
Expertise in Social Media Platforms: Profound knowledge of existing and emerging social media platforms and tools.
Creative and Strategic Thinking: Ability to generate innovative ideas and translate them into actionable social media strategies.

Salary/Benefits
$1,000.00 - 1,500.00 per month
