This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Emmy award-winning theater, television, and film producer seeks intern for script coverage. The producer is currently the Senior Vice President of a production company backed by the largest studio in Canada. The job is LA Based and works from the office in Thousand Oaks 2 days a week.
Internship Start Date/Season: Spring
Internship Duration: 3 months
Time/Days Required: 8-16hrs/week, 2 days/week
Workplace Requirements: In-person (Thousand Oaks)
About The Role:
We are looking for passionate candidates with an interest in the Scripted Television and Film space.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Reading script submissions and providing written summaries and recommendations for development executives.
• Performing research and compiling materials to help determine whether company should pursue certain projects
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
• Passion and focus on film making, television, and entertainment industry
• Experience in basic office programs (i.e. Google Docs, Microsoft Office, Pages, Google Suite, Dropbox)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• MUST BE Enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship.
PAY:
Unpaid. College Credit.
COMMITMENT:
Winter/Spring
8-15hrs per week
Start Date: 3/10/25 (TENTATIVE)
End Date: 6/10/25 (TENTATIVE)
INTERVIEW PROCESS:
Zoom interviews will be held the week of February 24th
