Hello there! Looking for a summer gig. Well, allow us to ask a few more questions:
1. Would you be interested in learning the business of show business - as a Production Assistant this summer?
2. Are you between the ages of17 and 24, residing in Southern California? Those over 24 or non So Cal residents may also be considered.
3. Do you have a few hours a week for the next 6 weeks to learn how to get your career in arts, media, and entertainment (AME) started?
If you answered ''Yes'' to at least one of the questions above then we want to hear from you. We are a digital production & distribution company working in conjunction with a 501c3 nonprofit entertainment organization to create pathways and more equity & inclusion within the entertainment business. We are taking resume for our long running internship (OJT) program for the summer.
To be successful in our AME Production Assistant summer internship, you should be able to complete most of our training online and have a serious interest in one of the following AME areas:
(1) Creative Development (writing, story editing, a/d, a/p, etc.)
(2) Communications (social media/pr/media, promotions, etc.)
(2) Post Production (audio/video editing, etc.)
(3) Tech, website, graphics design (storyboarding, pages, etc.)
(4) Business, financial, corporate relations (administrative)
(5) Performing arts, digital media, sports instruction (afterschool programs)
Note; there is no previous experience, certifications or degrees needed to apply or participate in this program. If you are still interested, we would love to meet with you to further discuss our summer training programs. No previous experience needed, unless specified above.
Before reaching out to us please be sure you understand that this is a completely REMOTE internship, which means it can be completed from anywhere in the world (quite literally), via your computer or smart device and you will not be coming into a traditional office. There may be some in-person shoots and recordings throughout the internship but we will give advance notice and it would be open to anyone who is able to attend.
- This internship starts the second week of July and will run through the last week of August (6 weeks).
- Time commitment is a minimum of 10 hours a week (specific days and hours vary and will be arranged with you).

Salary/Benefits
$17.28 - 23.00 per hour
Although there is no initial pay for this summer internship, there will be paid opportunities with us in the fall and spring semesters. This and other perks of this gig will be discussed at orientation.
