Talent management company representing film, TV, and theater actors, writers, and directors located in New York City is seeking a full-time assistant. This is a fast-paced environment and the candidate should be able to maintain a calm, professional manner while juggling multiple tasks at once. Candidate should be comfortable answering phones and interfacing with clients on a regular basis. The ideal individual will possess exemplary written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and an upbeat personality. We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated, dedicated, and eager individual. A bachelor's degree is required and prior entertainment or talent agency experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Answer and direct a high volume of phone calls
Interact with actors, directors, producers, and executives via phone and email
Schedule meetings, manage heavy calendars
Create itineraries
Effectively interact and communicate with all levels of employees
Handle pressure in a professional manner
Additional responsibilities as they occur
Qualifications:
Excellent problem solver
Ability to make sound decisions quickly; use practical approaches
Must be computer and tech savvy
Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook
Ability to multi-task
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in graphic design
