Job Title: True Crime Content Script Editor (Part-Time)
Location: Remote (with occasional in-office meetings in Orange County, CA)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented True Crime Content Script Editor to join our team on a part-time or freelance basis. As a Script Editor, you will be responsible for editing 3-4 scripts per week, ensuring accuracy, maintaining the host's tone, and making necessary revisions. Light fact-checking will also be required to ensure content reliability. This role is remote, but candidates must be available to come to our office in Orange County up to 2x per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit 3-4 true crime scripts per week (approx. 60 minute show per script).
• Ensure scripts follow the host's established tone and style, making necessary adjustments for consistency and flow.
• Perform light fact-checking to verify details and information.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality content.
• Be open to feedback and revisions, adjusting scripts accordingly.

Requirements:

• Strong editing skills with experience in content/script editing (preferably in true crime or related genres).
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to the host's specific tone and style.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in both editing and light fact-checking.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
• Must be located in or near LA/Orange County, CA, and available to visit the office up to 2x per month.
