Business Development Specialist (Commission-Based)
Location: Remote | Full-time
At Content Citizen, our mission focuses on short-form content that captivates consumers, drives measurable ROI, and strengthens brand advocacy. We assist CPG clients-particularly in food, automotive, health, and beauty-by helping them connect with their audiences through commercials, social campaigns, branded content, and short-form series. Additionally, we collaborate with entertainment partners to produce trailers, teasers, EPKs, and behind-the-scenes content for all relevant platforms, including social media, streaming, FAST channels, and more.
We operate in Los Angeles and Toronto, leveraging top-tier creative talent and benefiting from the favorable exchange rate to optimize our production budgets. This strategy allows us to deliver high production value and achieve strong returns on marketing investment for potential clients.
What You'll Do
• Identify and Cultivate Leads: Research and contact potential clients in the CPG (food, automotive, health, beauty) and entertainment sectors who can benefit from short-form content production.
• Build and nurture relationships: Serve as the representative of Content Citizen, cultivating long-lasting partnerships that lead to repeat business and referrals.
• Customize Pitches: Work with our creative team to create persuasive proposals that demonstrate how our short-form content can enhance audience engagement and brand advocacy.
• Close deals by negotiating contracts and finalizing agreements to ensure client satisfaction and mutual profitability.
• Stay Updated on Trends: Keep an eye on media and entertainment trends, such as DTC models, hyper-personalization, and new platforms, to guide prospecting strategies and client recommendations.
Qualifications
• Proven track record in sales, business development, or a related client-facing role.
• Familiarity with the media, entertainment, or branded content space is a plus.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, possessing strong organizational skills.
• Capable of working independently while sustaining consistent outreach efforts.
Compensation
