Job Purpose: The Accounting Clerk is responsible for supporting the accounting team by performing data entry and other clerical tasks related to financial transactions.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
• Data Entry: Enter financial transaction details into accounting software, including dates, amounts, and codes. *
• Bank statement reconciliation: Comparing bank statements to the general ledger to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Invoice processing: Receiving, verifying, and recording invoices from vendors.
• Accounts receivable/payable management: Maintaining records of customer and vendor payments. *
• Financial reporting: Preparing and generating various financial reports as needed, like sales summaries or expense reports.
• Record keeping: Maintaining organized filing systems for financial documents like receipts, invoices, and checks.
• Ledger updates: Post transactions to the accounting system's appropriate ledgers.
• Compliance: Following company and regulatory guidelines for accounting procedures.
• This role must be willing and able to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Game Day Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assists Corporate Responsibility team at home games. *
• Fan engagement.
• Aids in set up and execution of planned activations.
• Prolonged standing, walking and extended work hours.
• Set up and tear down of activation tabling in concourse.
• Must be available to attend all home games for the Dallas Wings, as well as attend most community events. Games & events may take place on nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Job Requirements:
• Formal Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance
• Relevant Work Experience:
• 1-2 years of accounting experience including bookkeeping
• Familiarity with accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures

Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

• Planning, organizing, interpreting data, making decisions, problem-solving, and composure under deadlines/stress.
