Job Purpose: The Graphic Designer for the Dallas Wings is responsible for any creative as assigned across a variety of platforms including web, print, promotional items and in-venue.
The Graphic Designer reports to the Director of Marketing and will service all departments with any creative or design needs from initial concepts to final production. This position is responsible for helping maintain the visual integrity of the brands, while demonstrating the ability to supply creative solutions to a variety of requested projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop concepts and design a variety of marketing projects including but not limited to print, web, promotional material, and digital. *
• Work with all departments to meet design and print needs such as flyers, sales materials, community event materials, brochures, etc.*
• Make sure that projects support the team's brand strategy and are completed on time and error-free. *
• Help manage and maintain digital files; distribute as requested. *
• Collaborate with entire content & creative teams on all campaigns and tent-pole projects with goals of driving revenue and social media followers. *
• Stay up to date on graphic design & content trends to help create innovation strategy and leverage in the day-to-day content. *
• Possible travel for away games and other tent-pole events across both leagues. *
• Other duties and special projects as assigned. *
Game Day Duties/Responsibilities:
• Prepares and edits content immediately for social media *
• Prolonged standing, walking and extended work hours.
• Must be available to attend all home games for Dallas Wings, as well as attend select community events. Games & events may take place on nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Job Requirements:
What We Need from Our Graphic Designer:
• Proficient with Mac and Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
• Knowledge of design elements, artistic ability, and creativity are essential.
• High attention to detail and organization skills are required.
• Strong background working in a collaborative, deadline-oriented work environment.
• Ability to work night, weekends and some holidays surrounding live events and games.
• Knowledge of sports including WNBA.
• Portfolio required.
Formal Education & Relevant Work Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in digital and/or graphic design, communications, or related field.
• At least one year of professional experience, sports industry experience is a plus.
• Photography (shooting and editing) preferred.
• Ability to create motion graphics preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to effectively communicate with other departments and corporate sponsors visually, verbally and in writing.
Work Location & Hours: Work is performed in the office and/or at one of the arenas as determined necessary by the Company. Must be available to attend all home games for Dallas Wings, as well as attend company events. Games & events may take place on nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
